Erin Glending, MHA
I formed EG: Health Management Advisors because I really care about private practice dentistry. I’ve spent over 15 years working hands-on with dentists and dental practices and understand, first-hand, the challenges faced by private practice owners and teams today. I’ve managed start-up and existing private practices, multiple location practices, multi-doctor/multi-specialty practices, worked with dental school residency programs, and I even got my start in dentistry as a clinical assistant while I was finishing my undergrad studies.
My Master's education in the business of healthcare and my experience with larger healthcare organizations spurred me to find a way to bring the better business strategies used in the larger healthcare field to private practice dentistry. I know the business of healthcare is changing, and I also know that the most successful organizations manage that change in order to remain competitive. Most private dental practices don’t have access to the strategic tools that have become the status quo throughout the rest of healthcare, and often, dental consulting focuses on tired ideas that no longer fit the changing market.
EGHMA conforms the strategic training, program development, and business management techniques used in large-scale healthcare organizations into strategies useful for smaller, private, dental organizations.
With increasing regulatory pressures and a growing resource gap between large corporate and small private practices, efficient, effective, and affordable implementation is the key to attaining and maintaining practice success.
EGHMA's Regulatory Compliance, Training, and Strategic Management Programs have supported dentists throughout the country in gaining confidence and peace-of-mind in the safety, security, and effectiveness of their practice's operations.
